This week has been super busy so I haven’t had a chance to post anything in a while. Owen has seemed to enjoy the fall festivities that have been going on. I think it’s because he loves being outside.
Last weekend we visited Lynd’s Fruit Farm with some friends. The weather was perfect. We picked some apples in the orchard, and we were able to get some family pictures as well. I made some baked apples and applesauce this week. Owen seemed to enjoy the applesauce. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day. You can tell that Owen’s gums were hurting him. No teeth have popped out yet 😦
This past week we were also able to carve out the pumpkins we got a few weeks ago. Owen seemed to enjoy the feeling of the pumpkin guts. Although we had to keep a close eye on him because of course he wanted to stick them in his mouth.
Halloween week continues…
Columbus had trick or treating on Thursday. We have now lived in Columbus for almost 7 years and I am still not sure why they don’t do it on Halloween. Nonetheless, I love seeing all the kids dressed up all excited to get some candy. We combined houses with our neighbors and hung out in our driveway talking and drinking cider. I enjoyed it, and I hope we can do it again next year.
Finally Halloween. Two parties in one night. Well we only made it to one. We went to a Halloween / birthday party at our friend’s house. It was pretty low key (because of all the little ones), which was fine with us. It is amazing how much can change in a year. Last year we only had one baby in the group now we have four. Fun times ahead!
